Born in Raleigh, NC, USA, Laura has lived and worked in Europe since 2004. She received her Bachelor's degree in Fine Art cum laude from Furman University, SC, USA in 1996 and studied Sculpture from 2004-2007 in the UK.

From July 2007 - 2009, Laura designed and created urban water sculptures for projects in Europe, Asia and America with the landscape architecture firm, Atelier Dreiseitl, in Ueberlingen, Germany.

Laura is a member of Artilio, an artist collective in Mannheim, Germany, and has had exhibitions of her sculptures, installations and paintings in the US, England, and Germany.
